From Reuters…MILAN - Italian Industry Minister Adolfo Urso said on Friday that Volkswagen (VOWG.DE) had no plans at the moment to sell its motorbike business Ducati, after meeting with representatives of the German group.
Urso held a video conference on Friday with Audi CFO Juergen Rittersberger and Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali to discuss the situation at Ducati, his ministry said in a statement.
Rittersberger reassured participants that Ducati's investment and product plans would continue as planned and confirmed that, at this stage, no decision had been made regarding any changes to Ducati's ownership structure," the ministry said.

Ducati on the block?
Sept 8 (Reuters) - German car maker Volkswagen (VOWG.DE) is considering the sale of Ducati, the motorcycle maker owned by Audi division, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing an interview with Audi CEO Gernot Dollner.
“Within the Volkswagen Group, we are committed to a disciplined, responsible portfolio management,” Dollner told Bloomberg.
“It’s part of the evaluation process that we’ll also talk about Ducati, but nothing has been decided,” he added.
