🟪 ASTROPOETICON 2027 takes shape 🟪 Milestone: First Preview @Foundation_HWF This week marked the first preview of the ASTROPOETICON 2027 project at the beautiful Augsburg Planetarium. It was an important milestone of the project. For this occasion, the foundation invited several researchers from the Augsburg Technical University of Applied Sciences, the University of Augsburg and from the production side. – Daniel Rothaug, Professor Interface Design, Dean Faculty of Design, THA – Carolin Jörg, Professor Artistic Design, Faculty of Design, THA – Andreas Muxel, Professor Physical Human-Machine Interfaces, Faculty of Design, THA – Robert Rose, Professor Time Based Media, Faculty of Design, THA– Julian Werlitz, Assistant Professor of Modern German Literature and Coordinator of the Elite Master’s Program “Ethics of Textual Cultures”, UA – Michael Fragstein, artist und multimedia producer – Markus Steblei, Director Planetarium Augsburg First and foremost, the foundation was keen to learn how the experts evaluated the project as a whole. This included whether the core concept actually works. This is: using the reading of the poems as a continuous narrative thread upon which diverse multimedia aesthetics could unfold. The researchers present unanimously approved of this approach. There was also a stimulating exchange, which included feedback on the dramaturgy the Foundation had chosen.
