This week for The Art Discourse Kyle and I were asked “How do #multidisciplinaryartists avoid being put in a box, but still manage to define their practice to others in a clear way?” youtu.be/JnZTz1NIpIA
Hoping to start printing in the shop soon. Has anyone else been creating new work already this year?

Artists: We receive ideas. We do not quite know where they come form - only that they come to us. And we are lucky. That is why I think it is a little bit sacrilegious not to work.
Kyle and I are preparing to print these two stones this week! Can’t wait to share the process with you🪨💕 #lithography
1️⃣ ask questions without feeling scared
2️⃣ feel ok about not being perfect
3️⃣ not be afraid to lose an opportunity (another one will come)
4️⃣ stop being worried that people will perceive us as being difficult if we have boundaries and conditions and want to be paid fairly
Tell us we’re not alone in the struggle with written components of #art applications! If you want to see an example of one of our proposals check out this post! bit.ly/3BcHIVq #ArtistOnTwitter
