Fact #5:
When Drauger OS was initially under development, it was actually based on @SparkyLinux Game Over Edition.
The tool we used to build the ISOs at the time couldn't generate ISOs on Sparky Linux, so we rebased to @Xubuntu, and later to @ubuntu.
Fact #4:
Drauger OS was SUPPPSED to be named Eleftheria, the Greek word for freedom or liberty.
Our lead developer forgot the word and named it Drauger OS instead, which itself is a misspelling of draugr, to pay homage to his favorite game: @SKYRIM

I think I'll try @SparkyLinux KDE on this slightly weird #PointOfSales system.
Had XFCE on it and that worked well enough but I fancy a change.
[And yes, I get the command line to "moo" at me once it has finished the burning of the USB stick.]
The VNC eventually worked on the #PointOfSales system, albeit in reverse listening mode.
Feels like stepping back into a time machine with #Win7, and not in a good way.😩😁
[Once it was my favourite Windows version, having tested or worked on Windows from 1.0(ish) to #Win10]

I've come around to using small, up to date distros like @SparkyLinux in VMs, different ones for each language group/project
As you say, nothing extra to install, except the odd apt dist-upgrade in my case
Much less dependency issues (on my assorted Python coding)!
