Earning Layoffs.
A former BioWare employee claims the studio was asked to remove a flag from a presentation for the canceled Mass Effect Universe project because it looked too much like the LGBTQIA+ flag.
The employee said the new management wasn’t convinced by the project:
“I think the video proposals we presented to the new management weren’t convincing.”
They also said BioWare being known for inclusive storytelling “didn’t help to dispel the skepticism.”
One specific example involved a flag in a presentation video. The team was asked to remove it because it was:
“looking too much like the LGBTQIA+ flag”
The reason given was reportedly:
“not to offend.”

Roblox has confirmed that an AI research agent accidentally scraped content from Open3DLab, SmutBase and SFMLab, including adult content.
The crawler downloaded 145.5 GB of data, including 1,027 files from 712 projects. According to Open3DLab, the bot also ignored the sites’ robots.txt rules and terms of service.
Roblox says the agent was “failing to operate as intended”, has now been decommissioned, and the scraped data will not be used to train any AI models.
The company also confirmed that adult content was collected, but says it will not be included in AI training.
Roblox is accused of scraping 145.5GB of 3D models, including 62.6GB of adult content from Open3DLab and two related sites.
Open3DLab says the crawler downloaded files from 712 projects, 345 of which contained adult content.
The crawler allegedly:
• Scanned almost 19,000 projects
• Made more than 26,000 requests
• Ignored robots.txt and the sites’ rules
• Identified itself as being used for “3D foundation model research”
• Carried an email address belonging to a Roblox researcher

In regards to what I replied about the screenshots coming out: It's really weird now knowing what is now known. However to be completely honest, and if there's one thing I learned from the drama last year with Sinder, it's that not every screenshot shown is the full picture. I'm not denying Maria's feelings, I'm sure she feels betrayed by everything and that's valid, however a second look and basically telling Ember it was okay regardless well....at that point you gave him consent man or woman.
Now to move onto the purity standards Strawb, Templar and others are trying to set as the moral standard let me ask you something: If you're so consistent than why are you even allowing the group chat to become sexual or even slightly lewd in the first place? Especially if members of said group are married. Is that not still portraying lust no matter what manner it is? I'm not gonna moral fag here I'm just asking a genuine question, cause it doesn't make sense to me.
The things that should matter the most is that at least Ember didn't deflect and downplay. They came out and said it was the truth. The book they wrote? Okay, so what?
