Got a new mix coming this week, opened ableton, cleaned up around the house a bit, watched hella scary movies, and chilled with the cats. All in preparation for next weekend of pure chaos and fun

Interesting
HBO is reportedly in talks with David Fincher to direct a limited sequel series to ‘THE WIRE’, set two decades after the original finale in Baltimore. Production sources state the plot centers on a new generation of detectives tackling modern crime networks.

I mean obviously he would say this & the two albums are actually very close for me. But Hell Hath No Fury reaches a level of darkness only a few albums on its level have reached. The beats were way too obnoxious Not taking anything away from the production & bars on Let God
Pusha T picks Clipse's 'Let God Sort Em Out' over 'Hell Hath No Fury' 👀 "I'm gonna go with 'Let God Sort Em Out' because it's a tutorial on the maturation of a rap group and how a group is supposed to mature..." (via Vogue)

Are we actually living through the most chaotic era in human history, or are we just the first generation with social media forced to watch every tragedy on earth unfold in real time, and the world has always been this dark, we were just never close enough to see it?

Now that I have the most bare minimum knowledge of behind the scenes work it takes to put on shows…how tf did they end up being able to perfectly project onto the amphitheater ceiling for Tippers 2019 set??

I don't completely know how to explain this, but as a cat owner you quickly learn that "absence of cat (chill)" and "absence of cat (suspicious" are two very different kinds of silence

The entire all:Lo takeover at Submersion this year was incredibly special. Luckily it landed on the hottest/sunniest day of the weekend. It was one of the most ultimate vibes I could've ever asked for. I'm an all:Lo stan now straight up

Also, while were on the subject. Hudson Project 2014 had some of the best festival energy I've ever experienced. I've gotten that feel from established fests over the years but Hudson Project was different

If I saw that Levity Coachella 2026 set & it was my first festival they'd be my goats lol. There's a lot of progression in discovering music taste thats being ignored
I think a lot of the EDM discourse comes to play with age gap. Like we were seeing artists like Griz blow up in small tents when I was just turning 21 I'd prolly be a fan of all the newer poppin artists if I just started hitting festivals today & defend them like I did others 🤷
