Personally I wish I could charge less for my art and survive because I do it for the love of the game. But like everyone, I want financial stability and to eat and sleep well. That's the real bottom line. And society as a whole decided art and creativity is a valued service. 5/?

Pro art skills take years to gain. And you shouldn't care how long it took to make a service viable but it means you can't find this work just lying around. That means scarcity, and artists should charge accordingly. Bespoke custom art is not an essential after all. End

I don't like acknowledging negative takes at all but people don't even know Bumi comes from the Malay word for earth 😭 South/southeast asia and especially Indian culture always had an influence on this franchise. It also borrows Incan and Inuit culture so whatever goes

The show was based on Chinese culture. It had an official Chinese name that was in the logo. All of the characters had official Chinese names. Chinese was the only written language ever featured in the show. Every time they tried to reduce Chinese culture, the thing tanks.
