Bondholders: Do what is right and release the funds Spirit pilots EARNED! payspiritpilots.com
Behind most Spirit pilots is one income supporting an entire family. Spirit pilots stayed and flew every flight to the end of the end — and were promised a wind-down fund to cover what they earned. Bondholders: do what is right and release the funds Spirit pilots earned!
One month later: no job, no health insurance, no pay. Benefits owed to Spirit pilots are being withheld by ultra-wealthy bondholders.
We flew the final flights and honored every commitment to the end, and our careers were ripped away overnight. The fund set aside to pay what we earned exists. The bondholders are holding our funds..
ALPA is fully supporting Spirit pilots and working closely with our industry partners on soft-landing opportunities as our pilots move forward. Thank you for standing with Spirit pilots over the years.

With all the uncertainty hanging over @SpiritAirlines, the professionalism of the pilots, flight attendants, maintainers and the rest of the front line employees showing up to operate a safe airline is commendable and worth acknowledging.
Spirit drives prices lower in every market it enters. That competitive pressure is the reason millions of Americans can afford to fly. Remove Spirit, and affordability goes with it. Restructuring must move forward.

14,000 jobs and affordable airfare depend on federal relief. That decision should not be difficult.

Urge Congress to Support Federal Relief for Spirit. alpa.quorum.us/campaign/1614…
Losing this airline would not just cost 14,000 jobs, it would cost competition, affordability, and access for passengers who have nowhere else to turn.
The global fuel shock now threatening this industry is not something any airline employee caused, and it is not something this workforce should be asked to absorb alone. Urge Congress to Support Federal Relief for Spirit: alpa.quorum.us/campaign/1614…
Federal relief is not a handout. It is a loan to help the airline finish work already underway—the right call for 14,000 workers, nearly 2,000 pilots, their families, and the millions who rely on affordable air travel. alpa.org/press-room/2026/04/…
When Spirit enters a market, fares go down. Losing this airline would not just cost 14,000 jobs, it would cost competition, affordability, and access for passengers who have nowhere else to turn.

Spirit Pilots stand in #solidarity with the pilots of @AerLingus. Pilots around the world are united for fair wages, better working conditions, and respect on the job, and as part of the world’s largest pilots union we support our colleagues at Irish Air Line Pilots' Association
Today, on Memorial Day, let us set aside time to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in armed service to our country. We honor those brave men and women who gave their “last full measure of devotion” in the defense of our great nation and democracy.
Many of you have also answered the call, in service to your country, and many of you know brothers, sisters and comrades you served alongside who did not return.

I can’t think of a better person to step into this role than Sean Creed. His institutional knowledge, passion and thoughtful leadership will strengthen our National Officer team and allow us to continue preparing @ALPAPilots for the next generation of airline pilots.
Today, ALPA’s Board of Directors officially ratified the election of Capt. Sean Creed (Spirit) as the Vice President of Administration-Secretary. Capt. Creed, who is currently the Association’s National Resource Coordinator, was elected to fill the vacancy created when Tyler Hawkins resigned his position upon accepting employment at United Airlines. Capt. Creed will serve the remainder of Hawkins’s term ending December 31, 2026. Please join us in congratulating Capt. Creed!
