Four months ago, Draymond Green said taking another point guard over Darius Acuff Jr. would be a mistake. Brooklyn selected Mikel Brown Jr. one pick ahead of him. Acuff just dropped 34 and 38 in consecutive games. “If you’re not the first point guard off the board, some team is making a mistake because I don’t see another point guard in your class, if I’m honest.” “That’s just me. I could be a little biased. I’m always show love to my own, but I also watch the game and analyze it.” Draymond’s warning is worth revisiting.

EVANDER HOLYFIELD STOLE THE SHOW AND ENDED MIKE TYSON'S REIGN OF FEAR! In Las Vegas, underdog Evander Holyfield faced Mike Tyson, the heavyweight champion many called invincible. Tyson opened aggressively, landing stinging rights early, yet Holyfield absorbed them and fired back with precise counters. An epic sixth round saw an accidental headbutt cut Tyson, followed by Holyfield dropping him with a left hook. Holyfield controlled the pace thereafter, outboxing and outpunching the fading champion. In the tenth, Holyfield nearly finished it, trapping Tyson against the ropes with a barrage as the bell saved him. Referee Mitch Halpern halted the bout at thirty-seven seconds of round eleven after unanswered blows, with judges scoring it ninety-six to ninety-two twice and one hundred to ninety-three for Holyfield. Thus Holyfield claimed the WBA title for the third time, shattering Tyson's aura forever.
