A mark connected to the ability to buy and sell.
So let me ask you something that might make some people uncomfortable…
What if the Mark of the Beast isn’t some dramatic event that suddenly appears one day?
What if it is introduced gradually?
What if it is presented as technology, convenience, security, healthcare or financial progress?
Some believe it could involve digital identity, biometrics, implants or other technology.
Others believe it could be connected to medicine or health requirements.
Some believe it could involve digital currency and control over financial transactions.
Others believe the mark is symbolic, representing allegiance to a system or authority opposed to God.
And some believe it is still entirely in the future.
But here is the question I really want to ask:
If something was introduced slowly, made increasingly necessary and eventually became impossible to live without, would you recognise it if it was the Mark of the Beast?
Or would you simply accept it because everyone else had?
