Think about Agenda 2030, the SDGs and equality.
When, and if, natural capital is tokenised, and is given a monetary value and traded (digital CBDC makes this easy), Britain, as a tiny island, has little natural capital compared with somewhere like the Congo, with its vast natural and mineral wealth.
The Congo would therefore be valued many times higher in natural capital terms and receive far greater financial flows.
So it becomes a system where your historical wealth matters far less. The value of your natural resources determines your wealth.
Oh … we’re going to be poor. And oh … there’s your slavery reparations.
I’m not joking! … Yesterday the UK Government started the process, exactly as I warned you it would.
Straight from the UN and into U.K. legislation, to turn nature into a financial asset class that makes huge returns for investors.
Forests, rivers, soil, biodiversity,… will all be measured, certified, packaged and sold as investment products.. to banks corporations and institutional investors.
And the Government will force regulation and make taxpayers create the demand.
