Earlier this month we were honored to receive a Silver Gavel from the ABA for our collaborative project, "Brown Revisited." Here's an overview of the project, along with some of the ideas we're working on to take it even further:

The American Bar Association @ABAesq Silver Gavel Award ceremony is this weekend. What better place for it than Toronto 🍁! @KerryDonahue, @iDIBgroup, and I will be on hand to accept the Multimedia Award on behalf of Prof Jerry Goldman, @NorthwesternU, @oyez, and @justia. We wanted Brown v. Board of Education Revisited to set the bar, ahem, for veracity and historical provenance in AI audio recreation. It's a celebration of the iconic SCOTUS civil rights decision from 1954. Check out the audio documentary at brown.oyez.org.
Deadheads, test your knowledge of the band with Hit Replay, a new music trivia app from @PantheonPods and @onlyinsf. Powered by Spooler!

Yesterday we launched Dialog, our new platform that makes it easy to create dynamic audio. Here's a very simple example of how you can build one of those dynamic moments into an audio experience.
Dialog is our new publishing tool that makes interactive audio easy. We used it to build our audio game, Links. What could you create with it? Let us know!

We just released Links, an audio crossword game, for iOS.
As a company focused on the frontiers of audio, we’ve noticed very few puzzles designed to be played with the voice and ears. So we built one ourselves. Check it out!

Excited to welcome Pedraum Pardehpoosh (@pedraum) to the @spoolermedia Advisory Board! A world-class product manager I had the pleasure of working with at Apple, Pedraum brings invaluable expertise as we create immersive audio experiences for automotive and mobile users.
We're huge fans of location media: storytelling pinned to a specific place. It's been around for years, but most potential listeners have never heard of it.
Today we released OSLO, an open standard, to help jumpstart this promising medium:

Forget deep fakes! At Spooler, we're creating deep truths. The best media output blends synthetic content with human curation and performance. For a dose of our creative techno-optimism, come to Podcast Movement next month in Washington DC and hear our talk on Brown v. Board of Education Revisited. This is our project to recreate the voices of Thurgood Marshall, SCOTUS Chief Justice Earl Warren, and others using the transcripts of the landmark civil rights case. Andy and I will lay out our argument in favor of "Creative Possibilities of AI Voice Modeling" and prove the value of #creativeAI.
On Juneteenth we honor the Black American struggle for equality. 70 years ago, the Supreme Court wrote another chapter in that story: the Brown v Board of Education decision. Hear Thurgood Marshall and others as they have never been heard before:
