The Spooler team is excited to support @oyezman Professor Jerry Goldman and Timothy R Johnson of @UMNews in the launch of @on_the_docket this week. Their project's mission is to expand engagement with the US Supreme Court and its most impactful decisions. The Court prohibits cameras in the chamber so On the Docket produces animations of official Court recordings of Opinions and Dissents. Spooler's creative team used AI production tools and techniques to generate the videos for distribution on YouTube and social media.
The first animation series focuses on Trump v. United States which expanded Presidential immunity. Watch Chief Justice Roberts deliver his summary of the Opinion for the first time on YouTube: lnkd.in/gVgqmmDF
The project focuses AI transparency, historic accuracy, and overall respect for the Court as with our previous collaboration, Brown v. Board of Education Revisited. The videos are labeled and dodge uncanny terrain with a Gouache stylization.

After 50 days on the job, visits to every NASA center, a dozen town halls, and reviewing thousands of workforce submissions, it is clear there is much we can do to better empower our people and focus resources on the most pressing objectives.
Getting back to the Moon means getting back to the basics. NASA must regain its core competencies in technical, engineering, and operational excellence, and in doing so, we’ll save up to $1B a year to fund more missions of world-changing science and discovery.
With the directive issued today, we are strengthening the NASA team and executing urgently on the President’s national space policy.

Aviation aficionados unite in Oshkosh! My first time @EAA AirVenture did not disappoint. By far the greatest assemblage of war birds I’ve ever seen along with two enormous airships cruising around. The F-35A demo team made for more highlights with some spectacular maneuvers overhead including forming up with a heritage P-51 . On the ground, I appreciated the Rutan designs including the Long-EZ Dick Rutan flew around the world, IYKYK. Congrats to the @CrewchiefSystem on the @Garmin and @Tradeaplane partnerships. Recommend and will attend again!
