The Carolina Panthers have allowed more than 250 rushing yards twice in the 2026 NFL Season. No other team has allowed 250+ rushing yards in a game even once this season.

Really have to respect the mental side of what tonight represents for the Hornets. Less than 24 hours ago they got run out of their own gym in their home opener - as bad of a day as you can have. Tonight? Up 21 points entering the 4th quarter against a team w/ expectations.

You simply cannot lose like *that* in the home opener of the season. I think a lot of the offseason narratives from the team have come with the assumption that there's not going to be a lot of push back with taking a notable step back from where things were last season. In terms of Jeff Peterson: ***It's only been two games,*** but the two biggest moves the Hornets made this offseason (LaMelo Ball trade, Brandon Miller extension) look pretty bad. You can make as many +EV moves along the margins as you want but if you don't hit on the big transactions, none of that stuff will matter.

Hornets are down by 30+ points with less than 15 minutes to go and the only two healthy players on the 15-man roster not to enter the game are Liam McNeeley and Hannes Steinbach.
