What a terrible day to be a Jalen in the NBA. Jalen Suggs suffers a really bad non contact knee injury. The pain he appears to be in suggest a tear. Meanwhile, Jalen Williams in OKC suffers what might be a broken ankle or worse.

This camera angle you can see Jalen Williams land on his own ankle and snapped it. Dislocated and very likely broken. Sadly, barring some miracle, he’s done for the season.

For the 3 straight game he’s played, LeBron James had the worst +/- of any PHI starter! 😂😂 They were-22 when he was on the floor. They were +9 when he was off the floor.

Anthony Edwards is more like 1996 Michael Jordan and nothing like 1988-1991 Jordan. But Ant still isn’t that close to 1996 MJ…just has a game that can look like it. 88-91 MJ was much quicker with a much bigger motor than Ant
Mike Conley sees some Michael Jordan in Anthony Edwards 🤝 He's pointed to the fadeaway and the dunks. Ant mostly waves it off, which is the right call. He's a four time All Star and was All Star MVP in 2026, and that's a great start. Jordan's case took six rings to build though.

WARNING; Gruesome injury Jalen Williams suffers a serious lower-leg injury after an awkward landing. This is worst type of injury I see about once a month from among the major sports. He’s out for months if not the season for sure

At least GSW has a major excuse…injuries to Butler and Porzingis. That’s $70 million in salary there.
The two most expensive rosters in the NBA haven’t gotten a win yet this season. (h/t @MOTF_NBA)

If LaMelo ball played defended like his brother Lonzo, LaMelo would be a top 4 player today. Seems one brother got the defensive gene and the other the offensive gene
LaMelo with 15 PTS (63% FG), 8 AST, 4 3PT, 2 STL in just 17 MINS! The Wolves with their 3rd straight win of 22+ points

This is why I rarely trust the opinion of anyone on basketball they never saw. They don’t understand what players and coaches thought before the analytics of the 2010’s. Players shot 2pt FGA from 1-2 ft from the 3pt basket because: 1. They didn’t have the data showing how many pts per fga they produced from just inside the arc vs from 3pt fga. 2. They believed a shot in rhythm from 1ft inside the arc was better than an out of rhythm 3pt. 3. A gather step wasn’t guaranteed thus step backs were much more difficult Shot chart data didn’t become available until 1997 and it wasn’t very accurate until maybe the mid 2000’s. And sports were still sticking to traditional practices until the 2010’s when analytics began to be heavily used.
I’m sorry but taking a shot where you’re one feet away from behind the 3PT line is just stupid. The shot selection was just awful

Bronny James in 2026-27 so far: 🔸7min 2pts 1 tov 2 PF 🔸0 ast/reb/stl/blk 😂😂
No surprise…how many players have more turnovers than points? With a min of 10 turnovers.

This is how disingenuous some people are. He’s claiming in 2020, Jokic was a better scorer than Bradley Beal! Jokic: 19.9ppg 60.5%ts Beal: 30.5ppg 57.9%ts
Replying to @SportsStatsFan
Jokic played in 2020. Idk why you're using 2025 stats. Jokic shot 61 TS in 2020. Beal shot 58 or 59% while averaging 30. Jokic was still a better scorer imo.

Orlando Magic appear to be slower at getting players back from injury. Banchero is currently sidelined with an injury Report: “Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero has sustained a low-grade right high ankle sprain, sources tell ESPN. This injury diagnosis typically carries a timetable of 4-to-6 weeks.”
Are the Orlando Magic slower than league average in getting their players back from injury?

There are more good NBA point guards than centers by DESIGN…rule changes intentionally meant to make it easier for perimeter players. Rules such as handcheck ban, defensive 3 seconds, adding the gather to travel, allowing far more carrying, etc. This is common thought of young NBA fans who don’t fully understand how basketball changed with rule changes and analytics. The NBA changed rules after Jordan retired in 1998 and as Shaq became the best player by 2000. The league had been dominated by big men in the post and they wanted more perimeter players like Jordan so they made some major rule changes. They thought bigs in the post were boring. In 2001, the NBA formed a rules committee to investigate making the game more perimeter friendly. The rule and enforcement changes since then have been to promote perimeter play hence why today, perimeter players dominate the game.
Why is there such a surplus of good point guards in the NBA and such a lack of good centers? You’d think it would be easier to be a center in the modern NBA

PHI is better off having LeBron come off the bench. PHI already has a very good team without LeBron James. LeBron is just hindering the growth of VJ Edgecombe.
28 points Embiid 27 points Brown 26 points Maxey 17 points VJ 0 points LeBron watching in street clothes 98 points combined 🤯 This team can literally win it all WITHOUT Bron, this man about to be carried to a chip 😂😂😂

This Bronstan literally proved my point! He indicated LeBron is still a very good player today but defends LeBrons bad performances with “He’s 41, what do you expect” while still claiming LeBron is a very good player!!

37-38yr old LeBron lost his first 2 games and the Lakers went on to 33-49 record 😂😂 On a team with: 🔹Anthony Davis 🔹Russell Westbrook 🔹Carmelo Anthony 🔹Dwight Howard 🔹Rajon Rando 🔹DeAndre Jordan 🔹Austin Reaves
Replace 38 year old LeBron James with curry on the current Warriors roster and I guarantee u they’d make the playoffs.

The typical Bronstan! “LeBron is still great” but when he’s doing bad “he’s 41 yrs old!” 😂😂
He’s 41 turning 42 in 2 months.
