🥳 Submitted for planning! 🎉 We are delighted to be #architects & #civilengineers for this @ValleysToCoast #brownfield #development in Cefn Cribwr. 16 #WDQR21 #socialhousing units are designed to incorporate #Passivhaus principles & #lowcarbon heating. Wish us luck 🤞

Thank you @BeattiePassive for the tour of the Cardiff gasworks site yesterday - amazing to see this #volumetric #MMOC #Passivhausplus #socialhousing #development nearing completion. linkedin.com/feed/update/urn…

🥳 Congratulations Chris Lewis on passing #Part3! 🥳 Chris has completed the final step of the architectural journey & will soon bear the legally protected title of #architect. An amazing professional achievement and wholly deserved outcome: Chris, your uniform is in the post 😉

Here's to a #decarbonised future for the #builtenvironment!

A #Spring lunchtime #CPD with a difference today: Carl (technician by day; illustrator by night) and Bethan make the most of the good weather to do some #sketching beside the duckpond.

With the #Easterweekend over we are looking forward to attending this #cpd #webinar from @greenregister where an expert panel will explain & discuss revisions to English #BuildingRegulations. #ApprovedDocument #Ventilation #EnergyEfficiency #Overheating greenregister.org.uk/civicrm…

It's still #Spring & we continue to grow 🌱 We're excited to welcome Chris Lewis to our team. Another keen cyclist with extensive #Revit experience, Chris further expands our #BIM capabilities. Chris recently submitted final assessments for his Part III: we all wish him well 🤞

Well done to all those shortlisted & best of luck! 🤞

Thank you to @Miguel_JackonUK for an informative lunchtime #CPD on the #PHcertifiedcomponent Jackodur Atlas insulated floor slab. As well as learning how this system eliminates thermal bridging at the floor/wall junction, @Jaime_Moya_ had a great time practising his Spanish!

But the energy balance graphic...-! 😉 We find it useful to visualise where opportunities for optimisation exist - or where economies are available. It wasn't considered in isolation 🙂

When we nerd, we nerd hard. #Passivhaus #PassiveHouse #PHconsultancy #PHPP #energybalance #heatingdemand #lowcarbon #lowenergy

Beautiful #Spring morning for the #cyclecommute to Merthyr Mawr. There was even a heron on the pond but this cyclist spooked him before a photograph could be taken! #lowcarbontransport #Spring2022 #Springwatch

Happy St. Patrick's Day! 🇮🇪 Sláinte Mhaith 🇮🇪

Congratulations Diébédo Francis Kéré on winning the 2022 Pritzker Architecture Prize 🎉 dezeen.com/2022/03/15/diebed… #architect #community #PriztkerPrize #vernacular
