Kids should be encouraged to draw more in class--not just for creative reasons, but also because it has POWERFUL effects on learning. It forces them to grapple with what they’re learning and reconstruct it in a way that makes sense. A fun research video I worked on at @edutopia.

@UnionGas #HHIA Woodstock branch stopped by Springbank Public school this weekend for a HHIA event. We helped have their “buddy bench” installed, and a new red maple tree planted. We also spent some time freshening up the front gardens. Thanks to all that came and helped!
