My Dad used to regale me with stories of Rugby Tours to South Africa, touring sides arriving on our shores to take on the best we had to offer. I never thought a full tour would become a reality, dreaming of one day attending and taking my son. This day is now upon us, Rugby's Greatest Rivalry #RGR underway.
Feels like we’ve been supporting the @Springboks all over the world – between singing Irishmen, wild Frenchmen, accommodating Scottish fans and suffering Welshmen; between bar-brawling Kiwis, disinterested Aussies, the bowing Japanese and rah England supporters. Now I get to come home again and support the Boks with my people.
Shirts bought, bags packed, breath held, we're coming home. Thank you @Springboks for being #ENOUGH

With a few quizzical responses here is the rationale:
- Lazy on D (doesn’t track across, jogs)
- Never in the right position at the back (50:22 target with acres of space when he plays)
- Prone to (highly unnecessary) forward passes
- Attitude seems (unnecessarily again) aggressive and arrogant, escalating nothing moments
- On attack, runs at 45 degrees, shutting down space, skips, then goes into contact, never offloading (only flinging long ball when it’s not on)
- Not physical enough in contact
- Never a turnover threat
- Only covers one other position (maybe)
- Way better options already performing, notably Siyaya, Willie, Quan, Luan
Is good under the high ball though, that’s undeniable but uses the tactic too often.

Every time Siyaya gets the ball, I’m thinking he can’t pull of another miracle … then he does, whipping through French D like a couteau de boulanger through fromage à pâte molle.
He’s better than Fassi no doubt and perhaps even Quan is getting a bit en sueur.

#bledisloe has to be the worst rugby comp - boring and never a contest.
Rugby has become so boringly attack orientated that not only is defence optional but the variety that set piece brings is diminished.
Without the contrast that the @Springboks bring, rugby might actually die.
