For the FIRST TIME in Springboro history, our boys XC team stands atop the regional podium! The Panthers captured the title with 72 points, led by Nicholas Beatty (3rd, 15:20.4) and Nolan Hicks (8th, 15:40.7). All five scoring runners finished under 16 minutes! A championship TEAM effort! 🥈GIRLS | REGIONAL RUNNERS-UP! Our girls earned second place with 96 points and punching their ticket to STATE! Ella Smith (5th, 18:26.6) and Tessa Andrews (7th, 18:36.6) led the Panthers, with four runners finishing in the top 25! Congratulations to our student athletes and coaches! A state qualifier and a hole-in-one!⛳️🔵⚪️ Senior Elise Dunkle is STATE BOUND after winning a playoff at Districts to secure her spot in the OHSAA Division I State Tournament! What a way to keep her senior season going!👏 Sophomore Emma Knost delivered another unforgettable highlight, recording a HOLE-IN-ONE on No. 17, the second-to-last hole of her round! Congratulations, Emma!🎯 The Panthers concluded their team season at Districts, and we’re proud of this GWOC championship team. Our SHS girls lacrosse team plays Upper Arlington tomorrow at Mason at 7 p.m. in the State Semi Finals! The school is organizing a sendoff along the main high school entryway (on campus, not on 741) and all are welcome to help make it extra special! The team will roll out around 5:15 p.m., so arriving around 5 p.m. would be ideal. Please park in the staff lot and walk down to the entry area. If you plan to go to the game, tickets can be purchased in advance at ohsaa.org/tickets Good luck to the team and we hope to see you tomorrow! Go Boro!
