Hey everyone, I'll try to keep this short. I'm going on hiatus from all content-related activities for an undetermined (but possibly indefinite) amount of time to put more focus on other areas in my life. This includes an end to assets, streams, videos, ko-fi memberships etc. I'll still be around as Spvwvky in some ways, probably still making the occasional post about ADHD, maybe some personal plant-related content, and perhaps releasing music whenever I make some, but I'll mostly just be vibing as the me you've always known without feeling pressured to try and fit in or keep doing things that simply do not feel worth it or make me happy anymore. For a long time, I have felt burnt out, tired, depressed, unmotivated, not good enough; you name it- it's been me with the big ol' ADHD cherry on top. It's taken me a long time to come to terms and accept this decision, but it's what I need. My shop will continue to exist, but there will just be no further additions for the foreseeable future. When life feels less overwhelming maybe I'll dip my toes into making some occasional assets or doing a random guerilla stream here and there to see how I feel. Maybe I'll even "start over" at some point by rebranding what I do and switching to exclusively making YouTube documentaries about random stuff I'm interested in; who knows honestly. Among other things, trying to fit into the VTuber content sphere as a neurodivergent, straight, married male who's uninterested in all aspects of lewd content leaves me feeling out of place constantly, especially as lewd content and suggestive fan interaction seem to be becoming more of a prevailing force for success every month that goes by. Nothing is wrong with lewd content in its own right, it's just not what I come here to see. I never interact with nsfw but still, the daily occurrences I'm exposed to various types of extreme fetish porn illustrations and pictures of used sex toys continue to creep upwards as people commonly avoid using image censors for the sake of impressions and visibility. Honestly, I'm mostly sorry for not being mentally strong and aware enough to censor myself all the times I should have. Me talking so much about shit no one ever cared about all the time pretty much single handedly ruined whatever chances I had with the running start I was given and it pushed away every peer I ever became mutuals with. I'm just not good at holding my tongue, collaborating with others, being consistent, or maintaining contacts. I'm not good at any social aspects that a streaming content creator needs to be good at to be successful, besides the technical aspects behind making various types of content. I just have too much social anxiety and my ADHD is an incredibly severe case. Above all, I'm sorry to those who feel saddened by this news. I'm sad too, I wish I had done things differently, and it breaks my heart to see that once again it feels as though I've lost interest in something I loved, yet again sabotaging a path to success by letting my ADHD get the better of me like I have many times before. Thank you for believing in me, often when I didn't even believe in myself. Thank you for all the love, the support, and memories over the last 2+ years or so. Thank you for making me feel special and sometimes even a little famous, even though I know that's far from the truth haha. So yeah. If you want to unfollow me that's fine, I totally understand. Otherwise, I'll still see you around occasionally as I have always, I just won't be making any Vtuber content or motion graphics. Much love and thank you for everything 🩵
