Iâll be 50 yrs old this year!
In my 20s I was all athlete and no brain. I rode bulls for fun, rode the buck out of alotta young horses and got em trained up to be good riding/roping horses, roped many a cow (in and out of the arena), traveled thousands of miles just to compete in another rodeo.
In my 30s the ole body had slowed down enough that I wasnât capable of certain things but I could always think my way thru it and find the easiest way. Learned how to love one woman and how to make an easier living.
In my 40s Iâve had no choice but to think my way thru situations bc the body is shot.
Lifetime achievements: 31 fractures, countless torn tendons and ligaments, 5 major surgeries, no tellinâ how many concussions.
Wonder what the 50s will be like?
All I know is that Itâs been one helluva ride. If I had to do it all over againâŚâŚ..Iâd go even harder! đ
Where I come from we call this âshellinâ the cornâ.
QUIT YOUR
B!TCHING!!!!!!
Grandpa didnât have a $90 month internet bill, a $130 phone bill, seven app subscriptions at $72 month, an Amazon addiction for $200 month, he didnât have Netflix, Paramount or HBO for another $112 month and his haircuts didnât need a âstylistâ!
Iâm worn out hearing people moan, âOur grandparents could buy a house on one paycheck, but now we canât even afford rent on two!â
Yeah, maybe because Grandma wasnât dropping half her income on $14 iced lattes and avocado toast shaped like art projects. Back then, if they wanted coffee, they boiled it at home in a dented pot. It tasted like burnt rubber and regret â but it woke you up and cleaned your pipes.
And Grandma wasnât âout to brunch.â You think she had time for mimosas and hashtags? She was making something called whateverâs left in the fridge and feeding six people with it.
Donât even start with Uber Eats. You think Grandpa was out here paying $38 to have a burger delivered three blocks away? Please. He grilled mystery meat on a rusted barbecue, and everyone called it dinner.
Now people cry about being broke while sitting in a house full of gadgets. Two SUVs in the driveway, six streaming services, three air fryers, and matching tattoos that cost more than their light bill. You think Grandpa had a tattoo? He did. It said âKorea, 1951,â and it came with trauma, not Instagram likes.
And the kidsâLord help us. âWe canât make ends meet, but Brayden needs the new iPhone!â No, he doesnât. Youâre handing an $1100 device to a child who still eats crayons and forgets to flush.
When we were kids, there was one phone. It hung on the wall like a family relic. The cord stretched just far enough for you to whisper secrets before someone yelled, âGet off, I need to make a call!â And guess what? We lived.
The TV? One. In the living room. With three channels and a dial that clicked like a safe. And if Dad wanted to watch bowling, you were a fan of bowling, end of story.
Now thereâs a flat screen in every room, the babyâs got an iPad, the dogâs got a camera, and everyoneâs wondering why they canât afford rent.
Because youâre living like rock stars on retail salaries, thatâs why.
Grandpa wasnât leasing Teslas or buying $12 smoothies called âGreen Zen Awakening.â He drove a truck that coughed smoke, rattled like a storm, and smelled like oil and hard work.
They lived within their means. Whatever Grandpa brought home on Friday â thatâs what they had. They werenât keeping up with the Joneses; they were keeping the lights on.
So yeah, Grandpa bought a house on one salary. But he also didnât have a gym membership, three delivery apps, and emotional support crystals on his nightstand. His only support system was Grandma, who told him to quit whining and mow the yard.
Nowadays, everyoneâs broke, anxious, and âmanifesting abundanceâ while ordering tacos on DoorDash for the fourth time this week.
Itâs not the economy â itâs the lifestyle.
Wake up, turn off your subscriptions, make your own coffee, and maybeâjust maybeâyouâll smell the truth.
100% TRUTH!
I didn't write it but It makes a whole lot of sense!!!

Youâre now officially an AMERICAN!
We need no paperwork, no approval.
Hell, you just earned approval.
Even if youâre already an American, now, youâre even MORE AMERICAN!
Until I was 12 yrs old I thought my name was Dammit bc my dad was always yelling âshine the light where Iâm looking, dammit!â.
Letâs normalize even more insanity by the highly educated far left đ¤Śđťââď¸
If you go to bed on election night and don't know who won a midterm congressional race, that's normal. And if you wake up the next morning and find that a candidate who was behind hours earlier has since pulled ahead, that's normal, too. (via @PolitiFact) to.pbs.org/4zqnWBa
I like the new time.
The ânormalâ time.
Yâall can argue about it all you want, I was up at 5:15am and had all the chores done by 9am. All critters fed, cut up a tree limb that had fell in the night bc of the wind, had some Spiritual time.
Some pplâs minds and bodies donât work by an exterior clock. They work by an internal rhythm.
We all have an internal âclockâ.
Society has messed it up for most ppl. Not totally your fault if yours is messed up but it can be fixed if youâll cut off all apparatusâs and devices and allow Nature to reset within you.
Itâs called a âPersonal relationship with Godâ for a reason. Thatâs what He wants. Itâs in the Book.
âAnd I told myself âthis is probably the last thing youâre ever gonna doââ.
RESPECT!
That man put it ALL on the line to help his fellow man!
HERO!
đ¨ NEW: Kaylub Giamanco, the HERO father who TOOK OUT the Bend, Oregon elementary school shooter last week, tells the story for the first time
"I started hearing children PLEADING for their lives. And then I started hearing gunfire and I just started army crawling faster and faster. And I told myself, this is probably the last thing that I'm ever going to do."
"I have to go in. People are going to die."
"I crawled through the bottom window that was shot out and continued onto the rug inside where there's a little breezeway with stairs."
"And then the special needs classroom was to my left. At that point, I was on the ground on my hands and knees. I re-racked my weapon to make sure that a live round came so that I knew that I was ready to go."
"And then I peeked through the window. And at this point I found my opportunity. And I'd seen a teacher on the left struggling with the gunman on the right with the rifle."
"And I knew that they were on both sides of me, and I knew that he did not know that I was there. And so at that point I swung the door out and open and I stepped in and I fired."
This man deserves the Presidential Medal of FREEDOM! đşđ¸

I'm sorry but some of y'all conservatives are living in straight up denial. You have no idea how bad it really is right now. We are THIS close to losing our country and some of you are out here clutching your pearls over tone.
Nobody gives a flying fuck if Vivek hurt some commie cunts' feelings. Nobody. Do you know what these people want to do to you if we lose? Do you really?! They're not hiding it anymore. They're telling you to your face.
If we lose, it will be hell on earth. For you, for your kids, for your church, for everything you love.
So stop worrying about being nice and start fighting like your life depends on it, because it does.
Vote red on November 3rd and drag everyone you know with you đşđ¸đĽđŞ
Idk bout you but I like firing on all cylinders đ¤ˇââď¸
I guess GM doesn't care what people want.
General Motors is introducing two new naturally aspirated Gen 6 Small Block V8 engines for the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and the 2027 GMC Sierra 1500.
However both the new 5.7-liter V8 (L76) and 6.6-liter V8 (L78) will continue to use GM's Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM) system. This that cylinder deactivation system that many people hate as its been very problematic in the past. Many owners of trucks that have that system have paid extra to have it deactivated. It uses the ECU to monitor load and throttle inputs to run the engine on as few as two cylinders or as many as all eight. It automatically shuts down individual cylinders during light cruising or low-speed operation, and re-engages them as power demands increase. (when it doesn't malfunction)
Previous ones have had long-term reliability concerns over collapse prone valve lifters and associated pushrod wear.
And to rub more salt into that wound, GM is removing the traditional engine oil dipstick and replacing it with an electronic oil monitoring sensor. That has already generated bad feelings from prospective shoppers hoping for a back-to-basics approach after the numerous issues faced by GM's fifth-gen small-block V8s.
How about making a simple truck with a basic engine and leave the dipstick alone GM

It's becoming glaringly obvious that we don't have TRILLIONS in DEBT
We have TRILLIONS in FRAUD!!
As I get older Iâm noticing Iâm inclined to stay more on the constipated side.
Good friend of mine suggested coffee.
Never been a coffee drinker.
Long story shortâŚ..
Problem solved!
Best solution to a problem Iâve ever seen.
Doctors should suggest this to their patients.
I feel like a new man đ
