Just had a push notification about certain schools having to immediately shut buildings made of a certain type of concrete and to relocate students in the meantime. School starts in 4 days time, for some they’re already back. Great timing.
The one thing daytime Tv teaches me is how horrible the views of the general public can be and how broadcasting feeds this. Every show is aimed at making people afraid and angry by inventing or exaggerating problems or pushing agendas ignoring actual issues that actually matter
The unions have all said to accept the 6.5% rise. That’s lovely. But it isn’t funded. It’s going to further impoverish education. pay rise with cuts to other areas. Give me more glue, paper, support staff and extra curricular opportunities. Incredibly short sighted decision.

Bewildered at peoples responses to news that a 4 day working week showed an increase in happiness AND productivity for businesses. People seem aghast at this or are wilfully dense on understanding the trial and complain about it even though it would benefit them!
