St Johnstone Analysis

Kilmarnock struggled all season a bit and look the weakest side defensively. They've been particularly weak at corners especially, conceding 5 goals in the first 11 games. Central areas seem particularly hard for them. Diabate v Stanger in a central area = goal?

This is literally when the ball is played? There's no possible way he can be offside? 2nd image is the closest I can get to just before the pass is played.

It's as best as I can do really? There's no real way he could possibly be offside.

Not even close to offside.

You could start a game of "guess the Scottish referees decision" and it would become quite popular i reckon, like "spot the ball" Suspect most people would go dive, some would go penalty, but almost none would get it right and say handball. Watch his feet for the clipped heel.

Full round of fixtures in, and a solid enough start? Definitely need to improve on the attacking front, just dont create enough despite actually scoring plenty. Does kind of feel like we're being set up for a 8th-10th finish, which would be fine.

Not convinced at all Paton and Fowler work together, but we do have a real problem getting the strikers involved so far. Not 100% sure we've figured out how to attack without McPake yet. Taylor Stevens value off the ball huge, glad he got his goal too.

Just after hearing chat about Motherwells side last season vs this season, decided to look and ended up looking at all 11 sides who played over both last season and this season so far Last seasons figures dont include games after the split, which I dont have data for 1/3
