Earlier this week the Year 10 ‘#STEM Gifted & Talented Club’ had the opportunity to visit @RollsRoyceUK. There they got to see what #STEM jobs involve and gain some inspiration as to their own futures. Thank you to everyone at Rolls-Royce for giving them this fantastic insight!

I often ask if something is repeatedly not working, is it in the wrong place? If this is to KS4 then are you teaching before ionic bonding and covalent? Maybe moving it slightly later would help with formulae? We found this was helpful.

If you’re good enough, you’re old enough. People join the profession with backgrounds in other professions too. Don’t think you are able to generalise, IMO!

@Gratnells i have spoken to various colleagues of yours regarding an order and haven’t been rung back in over 3 weeks. We are desperate for our order! Could you give me a call back regarding it? Thanks in advance

Dr Halstead says this is his favourite lesson. Lots of challenging chemistry goes on to get the mixture spot on! Well done year 12!
