✨ Solemnity of All Saints ✨
Today we honour the saints in heaven.
The famous ones, and the unknown ones.
Our grandparents. Our teachers. Our friends.
Holiness is not for the few.
We are all called to be saints.
All holy men and women, pray for us!
By order of the Bishop, there will be a second collection at all our Masses this coming weekend (31 October/1 November), to financially support end-of-life palliative care provided by the various hospices located within the diocese.
Challenge yourself this week to bring patience into your home, workplace, and daily commute. #FaithDaily #PrayerOfTheDay #Inspiration #PatienceInFaith
✨ A beautiful evening of Confirmation ✨
We celebrated 40 candidates receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation with @BishopPMcKinney
🙏 Please continue to pray for our newly confirmed, that the Holy Spirit may guide and strengthen them on their faith journey. @NottsDiocese

The Church does not exist for herself, but to lead every person to an encounter with the Lord. It is therefore not enough to ask whether an activity is well organized, well attended, or has been running for many years. We must ask whether it truly leads people to Christ and brings the Gospel into contact with the concrete realities of people’s lives.

Who is Jesus for you, really?
Not the answer you were taught. Not the one everyone else gives.
The honest one.
This week, sit with that question, then let one small action answer it for you. 🕊️

We’re grateful that cover is in place so Father Philipp can fully rest and recover after surgery.
A big thank you to the @dioceseofnottingham and visiting priests for stepping in, and to our community for your patience and prayers.
