The Chamber and community leaders celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for a new apartment complex on Thursday. Bryan Properties is building the complex near the YMCA at the Shoppes at North Village. This will be the first new apartment complex built in St. Joseph in 22 years.

Today St. Joseph hosted the Northwest Roundtable on Economic Development, which is comprised of 18 counties in NWMO. Members toured St. Joseph's campus of UMKC School of Medicine. They discussed furthering resources for supporting rural medical needs.

Today and tomorrow about 1,700 students will meet with local employers in many industries as part of the annual My Success Event presented by Boehringer Ingelheim. The Chamber program aims to inform students about opportunities they can explore after high school graduation.
