We had a great day at the District Cross Country event on Saturday - a huge huge effort by all the St Poly's children who participated. We're particularly proud of the girls who won 1st and 2nd in the Girls' race. St Poly's also won the Girls Cross Country Cup overall. #winners

Today is World Mental Health Day, and recent surveys reveal that mental Health has declined in almost 40% of school children. With that in mind, your homework this week is designed to ease stress and anxiety. #BritainGetTalking #WorldMentalHealthDay2023

In PSHE, Year 6 have been thinking about the best parts of themselves. It was wonderful to see the children discussing and celebrating their favourite and most valued qualities.

Yesterday the Year 6 Spiritual Council members spent a wonderful day at Wintershall. The theme of the day was: 'Following in the Footsteps of Jesus'.
Thank you to St Edmunds for organising and to Rydes Hill for the lift there in the minibus. #catholiclife #stpolycarpsschool

In EYFS we have been using our green fingers to create our own garden. We planted strawberries, potatoes, tomatoes, peas, basil, mint and some pretty flowers. We are super proud of our handy work!🌺🌻🌹 #planting#greenfingers
