NIGHTWING / DICK GRAYSON was the first Robin but moved to Blüdhaven to become a hero in his own right when he came of age. He took his name from a Kryptonian bedtime story Supergirl told him while babysitting. But he always comes home for the holidays (or world-ending threats).
