It’s Ask a Stupid Question Day! Fun fact: Ask a Stupid Question Day was invented by teachers in the 1980s to encourage students to ask questions without worrying they’d sound stupid. Apparently we’ve been training for this our entire lives.... STACKED Stupid questions of the day: Can turtles breathe through their bums? Some species can absorb oxygen through specialised tissue around the cloaca while underwater. So, essentially: yes. Can you burp in space? Not normally in the same way. In microgravity, gas and liquid don't separate properly in your stomach, so a burp can bring liquid with it. Delightful. Do wombats really poo cubes? Yes. They're the only known animal that produces cube-shaped poo. And now we’re all a little bit smarter! Although we have spent most of this post talking about arses, so perhaps not.

It’s National Comic Book Day! Superman’s weakness is kryptonite. Apparently Stacey’s is the washing machine. Should’ve read the label before you washed that top. Seems to have shrunk mate. 😉 Fun fact: Superman No. 1 originally cost just 10 cents in 1939. In 2025, a copy sold for a whopping $9.12 million.
