Harvard in 2018: Bitcoin will die! Harvard in 2025: Investing $116M in Bitcoin! This proves exactly what I’ve been saying for almost a decade. It doesn’t matter what you think about Bitcoin, at some point you have to adapt. Think about all those internet haters in the early 90s. Where are they now? They all use the internet every single day. You can’t stop new technology, not even governments can. This is what nocoiners don’t understand: they don’t see #Bitcoin for what it truly is.

Why is a distributed ledger the dumbest thing ever? Sounds kind of ideological to me. Computer scientists spent decades trying to build one, and bitcoin was the first successful one at scale due to putting all the necessary pieces together.

US prosecutors say bitcoin is money. It's Schrodinger's money. It's a "speculative asset" when they want to describe it as not important, but then becomes "money" for the purposes of laws regarding money transmission, and then back to "speculative asset" again.

A global reserve currency is used by everyone. That includes enemies. Would be pretty pointless to just fork off as soon as someone or some entity you don’t like starts using it, or you want to add some shiny feature to the base layer.
