Most African devs deploy to a US platform and pay in dollars, but five teams on the continent have built hosting that does the same job.
Here's what each one does:
New look, who that? 🌝
Sabilytics.com has been running on my VPS through @StackshiftCloud 🚀
Looking at the performance so far:
• 69ms average response time
• 99.99% successful requests
• 100% uptime in the last 24 hours (everyday)
• 0 restarts
• Just 2% CPU usage
Still monitoring, but these numbers are looking really good! 🔥

Almost a month in, and @StackshiftCloud is still one of the best decisions I've made for my VPS hosting. 🔥
And @_fusionTech is one of the best founder-customer support you could ever ask for.
No regrets so far! 🚀
Two weeks ago, I knew almost nothing about hosting a website on a VPS.
Today, I'm running and managing 5 projects and 4 databases 😂
This wouldn't have been this easy without @stackshift by @jessee. He has really held my hand through the process and made everything way easier.
If you're thinking about buying and using a VPS for your projects, I definitely recommend checking it out.
And yes, I have the founder's WhatsApp number and sometimes disturb him till midnight asking for clarity 😅
I can share it with you too 😂

Two big ones this week for StackShift:
NVIDIA Inception
Google for Startups Immersion EMEA, powered by Antler
Support is live! Do well to check it out.
When I tried signing up for some support platforms for a client’s project, my requests kept getting rejected. So I built one myself for that project.
Today, we’re launching StackShift Support. No rejections, free to start.

If you’re looking to monetize your project through ad placements, like Lagos Life is doing here, the easiest way to set it up is with AdsRoster.com
Design where you want sponsors to appear, create the matching ad spots in AdsRoster, integrate them into your site, and that’s it.
Sponsors can book and pay, you earn from the placements, and you can withdraw your income anytime.
I grew up playing The Sims 3 and always wondered what it would be like if the Sims lived in a world inspired by ours.🤷🏽♀️
Then I saw @eureka_seamless riding a danfo through Lagos, and it sparked an idea: Lagos Life Sims.
Take a look around. Who knows, you might make a new friend in the Sims world.
