Exactly, literally all you need to do is say "I drew my own version of these characters" and ALL of the criticism of those character designs would go away, but no, you have to hint at saying "these character designs suck" without having the balls to actually say that.
I listen primarily to video game music because its made with the purpose to fit a scene, this purpose allows me to easily imagine my own scenarios in my mind which then in turn become my own ideas. I wouldn't nearly be as creative as a person without video game music.

Finally for once its not hot as fuck outside. I almost forgot what it felt like to be in the sun and not burn instantly, mind you, its currently 80° degrees right now on an October afternoon. California weather is not for the weak.
Thanks for the support, when I started drawing this I felt off, like I was doing it wrong, but when I got back to finish it, I actually started have fun with my art, which is something I haven't had for a little while now. I just feel really proud of this drawing.
