I had a good time speaking with my friend Greg Forster of the Oikonomia Network about what we do at @firstliberty_ and @TheCRCD as well as my work with @erikwmatson on Christian political economy and the future of theological education. There's a lot packed into this 15 minute discussion!

Here is a seminar I did for the @tabletmag this week, a discussion that ranges from Thomas Aquinas and John Donne to my own recent poems.
Sunny day. Book (actually pretty good) for Books, Bourbon, and Beer reading group. And, my dog Teddi. A good Sunday thus far.
Hosting an 8-man Cribbage Tournament today. Chicago Beef is on the menu. The Golden Peg is at stake. May the gods look favorably upon me, and may I peg like the wind.
I would personally like to thank @bradleybirzer for calling those of us who reside in The Mitten state ✋️ as Michiganians and not ganders. The book is also just, hands down, a wonderful read all around.

My newest book is out. It's a collection of essays about ice fishing and a celebration of winter.
