You are the experts, see: I received a letter yesterday signed by @NPSOfficial_KE director yesterday about my complaint against @DCI_Kenya director daniel kandie alongside his officers tom otieno odhiambo and peter mugangai. 1) Letter requests me to come by their office for yet another report. 2) Sent from a gmail address but the letter lists a .go.ke email and government website. 3) Looks like other government agency letters I saw format-wise. 4) Signed by @NPSOfficial_KE Internal Affairs director Paul Mumo. 5) Lists the real NPS office address to visit. Suspicious parts: A) Why is the NPS Internal Affairs Unit involved when it is a DCI matter? B) Why did they take 15 days to reply to an urgent complaint which was addressed to @IPOA_KE and @EACCKenya ? C) Why do they request me to visit their offices on Oct 26 - a day later than the email was sent (yesterday, Oct 27)? Do they expect me to rush there to make it? D) Letter is dated Oct 22 but was sent Oct 27. E) They misspell their own officers, assign them to wrong offices (all work at DCI Regional HQ not Gigiri) and address me incorrectly. There is clearly incompetence and utter dysfunction at government agencies. This looks more than suspicious though. No answer to my immediate follow up reply. That’s equivalent to: 👮 408,000+ police constables’ basic salaries for an entire year. 💻 4.8 MILLION basic computers at KSh 30,000 each. 💰 Over US$1.1 BILLION! Yet the real question is: How much reaches officers, police stations, investigations, equipment and public safety? Where is the itemised expenditure? Where are the measurable results?
