Elon Musk predicts space will become the lowest-cost place to run superintelligence within just 2–3 years
“I think the case is a no-brainer for building solar-powered AI data centers in space”
Solar panels facing the Sun and radiators pointed away from it can provide an incredibly efficient power and cooling system
“The net effect is that the lowest cost place to put AI will be space. And that'll be true within two years, maybe three at the latest”

Know thyself.
Andrew Huberman on the best advice he ever got: figure out the most real work you can do every day, consistently, and find a way to reset every week.
"The best advice I ever got: there was a neurologist out at UC Berkeley and UCSF, Bob Knight, some years ago, very talented. I asked him for advice starting graduate school."
"He said, 'Figure out the maximum amount of real work that you can do every day consistently, and then figure out some non-destructive way to reset yourself every single week.'"
"I said, 'How do you reset?' He said he likes fishing. I like to hike. I like to get into nature and spend time with people while I do it. I figured out I could work X number of hours per day, 5 days a week, and I just stuck to it for 25 years."
"People who take a ton of stimulants and just blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz, blitz. These are the same people that crash and disappear. You have to figure out and build your capacity."
"Yes, you have to work extremely hard. You have to be extremely focused. But you also have to figure out how long you can keep this up."

Reality check for many of my friends on the right: any politician associated with the Iran war has zero chance in 2028. There’s just no constituency for another neocon war of choice when we’re $40T in debt and most people can barely make ends meet. You’re likely in the denial phase right now, and that’s okay. But the sooner you accept this reality the better.

Today, by God’s strength, we continue that journey by standing beside our Troops, Veterans and Gold Star Families.

Never, ever let them tell you it can't be done.
Palmer Luckey says analysts claiming it's too expensive to manufacture in the US are lying to protect megacorps
"I think I have a more realistic view than almost anybody. One of the problems with all these analysts that are telling you that it's going to cost $37,000 to build an American iPhone or $100,000 to buy an American computer."
"They're trying to prop up a status quo that the megacorporations want to keep going. They want to outsource everything. They want to hire cheaper non-American labor."
"They are willing to say and do anything to convince you that it can't be fixed, that it can't come back, that America is this helpless, neutered, post-relevant empire, and it is just not the case."
"How do I know that? Because I have to make stuff in America every day because I work in the defense industry. The stuff that Anduril makes every day is not actually that different from a computer. My drones are basically computers. They have memory, a GPU, a CPU, sensors, batteries, a rugged integration."
"The only difference between an Anduril attack drone and a laptop is a keyboard and a screen. That is not that hard to figure out, especially for a guy like me who started Oculus and comes from the consumer electronics space."
"We're not going to let people lie about what America can and can't do anymore. We're just going to do it."

Anton Myrer was born on this day in 1922. A United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he is the author of ONCE AN EAGLE, a book I gave to leaders in the SEAL Teams as they began their service in the profession of arms. You may also have noticed James Reece gift a copy to Ben Edwards in DARK WOLF.
Of the many valuable lessons from the pages of this poignant and timeless novel, this line rings particularly true: “You can’t help what you were born and you may not have much to say about where you die, but you can and you should try to pass the days in between as a good man.”

Friends, I don’t think we Christians fully understand how radically we must think about the goal of the Christian life. It is not to become a nice person. An atheist can be a nice person.
The goal is to become a new creation, someone living the very life of God. Jesus is the Son of God by nature, but we become sons and daughters of God by adoption, brought into a share in his life like a child welcomed into a family and their home.
That’s what it means to be a saint: to be invited into the household of God, and to worship God by eating and drinking the body and blood of Jesus, becoming assimilated unto him.
