Just a friendly I have the most efficient(by far) stake pool. It's also the most decentralized and an alternative node. The woman I love is too young for me and my dog is naughty. Delegate today!

Filing a governance action used to mean hosting your own metadata. Now it's a form π³οΈ
Nice work @dreptalkcom
DRep Talk 1.8 is out.
You can now submit every governance action type on mainnet, from info actions to treasury withdrawals and parameter changes. The metadata is pinned to IPFS for you, so there is nothing to host yourself.

Replying to @BtcAndres
This concern applies to devices received after October 20, 2026. If someone received their device after this date, we urge them to contact our customer support team for guidance on verifying its authenticity before using it.
Please note that weβve temporarily paused shipments because the devices currently in our inventory use the old authentication key.
All 18,835 devices containing the old key will be destroyed and will not be sold or shipped to customers.
New orders are now available for preorder, and devices using the new authentication key are expected to ship within 4β6 weeks.

12 owners. A third of all staked ADA.
If you want Cardano decentralized, look at who you're staking with. Single-pool operators exist for exactly this π΅
To every ADA holder: decentralization is not something the protocol does for you. It is where you put your stake.
Today twelve owners together hold a third of all staked ADA. Thirty-seven hold half. And stake barely moves: of the ADA that was staked a year ago and still is, 88 percent sits with the same pool today.
Governance shows the same picture. Cardano has 294 active DReps. Twenty of them together carry the two thirds needed to pass a treasury withdrawal, and sixteen of those twenty run a stake pool. Five together can block one. In all, 120 of the 294 are linked to a stake pool, and they hold 80 percent of all DRep voting power. That clears every threshold a DRep vote has, without a single vote from a DRep who does not run a pool. Fourteen of them belong to the thirty-seven owners who hold half of all stake. Those fourteen alone hold 38 percent of the DRep vote, enough to block any treasury withdrawal.
Those numbers only change if holders change them. Nobody else can.
Your ADA carries two votes. The pool you delegate to votes as an SPO on hard forks, the committee and security parameters, with your stake behind it. Your vote delegation goes to a DRep. Both are your choice, and today the same large owners weigh heavily in both.
There are 627 pools run by a single operator, one person or one team with one pool, with room under the saturation point, that answer on their relays. They are listed here, with their stake and their blocks, and you can delegate from the list:
smitblockchainops.nl/#pools
Ask yourself one question: how many pools does the operator of my pool run? If the answer is more than one, your ADA is adding weight where there is already plenty.
Move it to a single pool operator. Yes, a pool with little stake pays its delegators somewhat less than a large one. That is temporary. As the pool fills up, your rewards rise with it. The network gets what it was designed for: many independent operators instead of a few large ones.
Then choose your DRep the same way. Pick one who does not already hold a large share, and who explains their votes. And do check that the DRep shares your views. They are listed here, with how many of their votes came with an explanation:

Reminding everyone that the Claude code reset given at the Opus 5.5 launch expires in one hour, 16h UTC.
Please spread.
Watch out for these scammy fucks. This is EXACTLY what someone selling you bullshit looks like. Their strategy appears to be to spam everyone who votes against them. Vote no, then block.
Cardano has an opportunity to pioneer a new model for blockchain treasuries: investing in tokenized physical copper, with a defined path to returning capital and potential profits to the community.
Thanks to all Cardano DReps for the questions and constructive feedback.
We're launching a thread to address your questions

A privacy-first DNS resolver just chose to leave an entire country rather than lie to its users.
Quad9 is shutting off its free DNS service in France on November 24, after a French court ordered it to block domains that BeIN Sports claimed were facilitating sports piracy.
Quad9 refused.
"We categorically refuse to alter or lie to you about the DNS responses you receive in a way that opposes your expectations."
The court had actually reduced the fine to just β¬1,000 per day. Quad9 still walked away. Because the real problem was not the fine. It was the precedent.
Complying would mean either applying French copyright law to Quad9's global DNS infrastructure, or using geo-blocking methods that Quad9 considers technically unreliable and ethically compromised. Either way, the integrity of the service breaks.
This is what it looks like when a privacy tool takes its mission seriously. Most services would have quietly blocked the domains and moved on. Quad9 chose to exit instead π
