Stevenage Starlets FC

Old kit. New adventures. ⚽🌍 Thanks to competition wins & generous sponsors, we had plenty of pre-loved kit in storage. So we’ve packed it up for Kit Aid, ready to get more people playing football. Next stop… hopefully Africa in January! ✈️🙌

We're HERe to Play! Thanks to the @premierleague , @FA and @DCMS’s @footballfoundtn, we’ve been awarded a @Lionesses HERe to Play grant that will enable us to add two new teams for our youngest players and start them on their footballing journey.

We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Barclays Community Sport Fund, being delivered in partnership with Sported.

Grassroots clubs: “Facilities are impossible to get.” Kingshott School: “Here’s a venue, a rainbow, a pond, and probably a unicorn if you look closely.” They gave us a venue so magical I’m convinced a faun should’ve greeted us at the gate. 1 of 2

🎉 Big news! We’ve received a grant from @StevenageTrust to boost girls’ football locally—making it affordable & inclusive for all 💙 Thank you for backing our mission! 🙌 #ThisGirlCan #GirlsFootball #Stevenage #CommunitySupport

Its Volunteers’ Week, so we want to say a huge thank you to the amazing group of people we have that give up their time to deliver for our girls - of course we’re always looking for more helpers to allow us to do more (do get in contact if interested), #volunteersweek2025

With planning for the new season already in full swing, we are looking for people to join our coaching team. We have a long waiting list at various ages and want as many girls to get playing as possible. Can you help? No experience needed, just a love of the game. Get in touch ⬇️

With Spring firmly in the air, it's a great time for photos at Saturday matches - and here's some of the Starlets' favourites from the past few weekends.

Women’s football has come so far in the 8 years since Starlets was born & we’re proud of the bit we’ve done to help that. On #IWD2025 we thank our players and particularly our amazing female volunteers who are inspiring the next generation to be strong independent women

Since we're on the topic of enjoyment off the pitch, how about this from our Under 9 Navy team? A new team this season, progressing well, and always having fun #thingswelovetosee

We're all about football - but we love seeing photos of our girls together & enjoying themselves, whether on or off the pitch. Here's our U10s in the bright spring sunshine this morning taking some learnings from their match in their stride!

Thanks to the amazing sponsorship support received from @TritaxBigBox, we took delivery of five new sets of goals today, helping us to significantly improve club facilities #thankful

Exciting news! Thanks to the @premierleague, The @FA and @DCMS’s @footballfoundtn, we’ve been awarded a grant that will help us to replace and upgrade our goalposts, ensuring safe and quality equipment for the players in our growing club #thankful

Aside from the normal break over Christmas holidays, December and January weather has played havoc with our fixtures but, today, our girls were back - football and smiles (and probablly a little bit of mud) - just how we like it!!

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them #LestWeForget #RemembranceDay2024
