UCF's upset win over No. 2 BYU had one of the craziest endings in recent memory: - UCF sets up for a game-winning field goal with 10 seconds left in regulation - Clock resets to 15 seconds, so UCF spikes the ball, then throws a pass away - UCF once again sets up for a game-winning field goal with 11 seconds left (now third down), and it's blocked - UCF kicker Will Stone recovers his own blocked kick, theoretically giving UCF a chance at another kick on fourth down - But Stone's helmet comes off because of a facemask, but refs pick up the flag, and since his helmet came off, it leads to a 10-second runoff forcing OT - The ending of regulation was reviewed, with both coaches freaking out for a really long time, before determining they're going to OT - Both teams score TDs quickly in OT1 - UCF opens OT2 with a drive that stalls, so it kicks a field goal to go up 34-31 - BUT BYU roughs UCF's kicker in double OT to give UCF a first down, leading to a TD + they get the 2-point conversion - On fourth and goal in double OT, UCF gets the stop, and the field at the Bounce House is stormed (the goalposts go down) - UCF head coach Scott Frost says, "That's the weirdest end to a game I've ever seen" - In the end, UCF backup QB Keyone Jenkins takes down the No. 2 team in the country I'm pretty sure I got that all right, but this game was completely bonkers, so I can't be sure
