Always happy to rebut mendacious anti-semitic activism

We got a furious response from the former Conservative minister Lord Michael Gove when we asked about his position on Israel at the Labour Conference.
Gove claimed he knew more about antisemitism than Zack Polanski, the only Jewish leader of a major political party in the UK. He also accused us of not being journalists and of an obsession with Israel, despite the Labour government's change in position on the occupation of Palestine being the key topic at this year's conference.
Gove now sits in the House of Lords and is editor of right-wing magazine The Spectator.

By my count in this list just three of these measures cost the Treasury a single penny.
An acknowledgment that the biggest blocks to growth are regulatory, and it would be *literally free* to fix them.

I honestly feel like Anthropic has won. This year belongs to them, and they've pretty much taken over the market.
And even if OpenAI fights back with GPT-6.1 Terra, Anthropic already has Fable 5.5 ready to go.
To be honest, if Terra doesn't beat Opus 5.5 SOON (!!!!), no enterprise discounts or usage resets are going to save OpenAI from spending months in second place.

Notice, they never talk about Ukraine, Cyprus, Georgia, Uyghur, Tibet, Hongkong

Total NPC behaviour. Half the time people say “free X” they have no idea what they’d be freeing it from.
Free Congo? Free Congo from what? Mosquitoes? Ebola? And isn’t Syria already free?
Anyway, free Ukraine. That’s a real one.
Maybe building our entire economy around services wasn’t a good idea. But at least we can pivot to physical AI in manufacturing & data centre buildout with our cheap energy and permissive planning system
We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent.
It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

So basically, Fable 5.5 is already the best model in the world at pretty much everything, and now it's going to solve experimental physics problems too. Anthropic just can't stop winning.
Dr. Christopher Stubbs is joining our Long-Term Benefit Trust. Chris is an experimental physicist and a former Dean of Science at Harvard University. He has also advised the US government on national security and arms control.

🚨 Darren Jones: officials repeatedly told me I couldn’t act ‘because of the constitution’
The former chief secretary to the PM told PACAC:
- “I would often reply with, ‘The constitution’s unwritten. So if I decide to do something, it changes. Therefore, why can’t I do it?’”
- He tried to “abolish the Cabinet Office three times”
- He was not “allowed to abolish the Cabinet Office”

In short: Fable 5.5 is the best model in the world, and we're so confident it'll print money that we're planning how to redistribute the wealth of a model that doesn't even exist publicly yet.
We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.
In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.
In the post below, we share more details about our new fund.
