If I follow you and you're going through something tough and you want to talk it out or need my help in some way, get in touch. I don't care if we're only Twitter friends or if I've known you since childhood. This goes double for men because we're taught to hold onto things. ✌️♥️

Downloading image blobs over a hotspot should be banned by the Geneva Conventions of 2026.

Man... SO was great but my first account on there woo... Someone asked a C# question that could've gone 1 of 2 ways but since I didn't have the karma to comment, I asked a clarifying question in the answer field. Some neckbeard mod lit me up so I just closed the account...

Was complaining to a friend yesterday about Technical Recruiters who aren't actually technical. He responded with "Technical(ly a) Recruiter" and it’s been rent-free in my head ever since.

Looks like KDE 6.8.x might get released with Fedora 45 after all. 🤘

After this whole eMudhra certificate debacle, it reminded me that I hate the fact that a public CA can't make certificates for private IPs. I understand the security implications of what I'm asking for but I still hate it.

Wow can't believe it's been 30 years since KDE came out. I remember wondering which GUI to try between GNOME, KDE, and just plain console for a while and going back and forth between them all for a while. It's so much nicer than the earlier versions! kde.org/announcements/plasma…

Whenever someone disagrees with me professionally from now on, I think I'll start replying with a spicy "You're absolutely right and you were right to push back on that."

I don't know why I didn't anticipate harness plugins (see what I did there?) going in this direction. 2 posts in a row...

I don't know how "vibe coders" do it. I'm working on something outside of my area of expertise and all I'm doing is banging my head against ChatGPT learning the best way to accomplish my goal. I can't imagine sending it without all of the work needed to understand the domain.

After switching to @calcom I'm upset with myself for not switching sooner. What a solid product.

Exactly what prompt are you all giving Opus so that Qwen 3.8 27B outperforms it? "Act like you're a patient in the middle of a lobotomy procedure. Now do your best at these benchmarks!" Qwen is absolutely NOT Opus level.

I find it hilarious when an email from Google lands in my Gmail Spam folder

Today I learned there is a physical button that resets Codex limits...
Enjoy the codex reset people. A user got to push the secret button and suddenly all of you got more tokens. Hope the button goes back to @thsottiaux where it belongs. (Also I think @sama has one)

Come on @ChatGPT... Let my Codex subagents cook! Haven't you learned by now, from all the knowledge you've hoovered up, that constantly interrupting like a Dilbert level micromanager kills your workers productivity???

After testing a few Live versions of Linux on my laptop, I'm almost certain I'm going to migrate from Windows 11 to Fedora. There are very few issues, it's far more mature than it used to be, and most importantly it runs cooler and uses far fewer resources. Also, it's gorgeous!
