I genuinely cannot believe a BED stops working because of an amazon outage. the jokes are literally writing themselves.
The AWS outage has impacted some of our users since last night, disrupting their sleep. That is not the experience we want to provide and I want to apologize for it.
We are taking two main actions:
1) We are restoring all the features as AWS comes back. All devices are currently working, with some experiencing data processing delays.
2) We are currently outage-proofing your Pod experience and we will be working tonight-24/7 until that is done.
More updates soon.

We're incredibly proud to announce that Second Reality has now been finally ported to a modern operating system, and you can watch it tear up your system: no video, no emulation, just code - as it should be.

Tired of Ubisoft telling you to "destroy all copies of the product in your possession" at whim? Sick of servers getting shut down and killing your single-player games? If you're an EU citizen you have one week to sign the Stop Destroying Games initiative: eci.ec.europa.eu/045/public/…
.@videogames_EU We appreciate your passion to maximise corporate revenue at the cost of consumers, however, the decision to tell you to shove those practices where the sun doesn't shine is multi-faceted, never taken lightly, and must be an option for customers. #StopKillingGames
If you're an EU or UK citizen who plays video games, you have a little less than a month to sign these consumer protection initiatives, aimed at reigning in companies who just kill the games you purchased whenever they deem fit. #stopkillinggames

NO FEES on web transactions. Game over for the Apple Tax.
Apple’s 15-30% junk fees are now just as dead here in the United States of America as they are in Europe under the Digital Markets Act. Unlawful here, unlawful there.

4 years... that's how long it took for the infamous @SteelSeries Arctis design flaw to kill mine.
Hey @CGDISlux , if your goal is to get people to disable all these notifications on their devices, you're on the right track. If that's not the goal, please stop testing in production. You have an "LU-alert test" channel, use that!
Luxembourg friends: I have recently become aware of a databreach at now defunct website luxbazar [dot] lu. (The unique password I had on it in 2017 was leaked.) If you've used this site and used the same password elsewhere, I strongly recommend changing it!
Credit for the discovery to @Malwarebytes and their Digital Footprint scanner.
Finally, an app that provides the one feature Bluesky is glaringly missing: Notifications when people you follow post! bluenotify.app/ Now available for iOS and Android.

Take note, @Logitech / @LogitechGDE . This is a proper "US International" layout, with a horizontal ANSI Enter key! Until you stop forcing that ISO/vertial Enter key on all of us here in Europe, I will not be buying keyboards from you.
.@amazonDE "We can't ship this to the parcel locker because it's too big."
Me: *enters virtual address of the EXACT SAME locker, knowing that the delivery guy can drop it off at the gas station next door if it doesn't fit*
Item: *Fits into the SMALLEST compartment of the locker!*

Needs testing to see if this thing works as expected (especially around the timestamp bits)
I do not have any affected hosts to test with
Dear @namesilo You might want to review your process for reporting criminal domain usage like phishing. Asking for a screenshot of the page requires the reporter to access it (divulging private information embedded in the link they were sent and exposing their devices to malware)
In addition: Please consider that these sites have an interest in evading detection and will therefore actively avoid delivering the actual phishing site if you do not match the target exactly (based on your IP range/region, or browser fingerprint not being targeted by them).
