The @LAPublicLibrary should rent out the food court spaces at @laplcentral to pop-up eateries on a rotating monthly basis. It's a solid kitchen infrastructure venue and would really attract people there...just a suggestion!

Spending this #Saturday watching @hasanminhaj new comedy special, and the latest and final season of #DerryGirls in my pajamas. Pure bliss.

I guess the only highlight of this day is my local ice cream truck now takes Venmo. I was hoping for a #Dodgers win 😔 #WinForVin #TGIF

Dear @Dodgers, If I rearrange my bobbleheads and put Lasorda up front, will you rally and win this game? Thanks, Steve

non Black LA folks, I encourage you to use this anger over gov officials being racist behind closed doors to examine your own participation in anti-blackness. wether it’s silence or a chuckle or maintaining relationships with bigots. we’re all complicit. each and every one of us. – at California, USA

When a heat wave hits, LAUSD's 6,400 acres of shadeless asphalt schoolyard are some of the hottest places in the entire city. If it's 90+ these students won't get to play outside. It doesn't have to be this way! Tell the school board to take action today: angelenosforgreenschools.com…

Replying to @monaeatsLA
Used to be that LA was horribly misunderstood and marginalized into a couple of basic sterotypes. Now that gentrifiers have moved into the areas and neighborhoods neighborhoods that represented a more whole LA, it’s no longer marginalized, but rather fetishized and consumed.

There will be a new #HeartOfLA 41st @CicLAvia route on October 9! The #Eastside leg shifts from the traditional 4th Street bridge route to the... ...wait for it... ...@6thStViaduct! Wonder if they will make the entire bridge a hub... #CicLAvia

Sucks the NL continues its losing streak but happy an LA native who grew up as a @Dodgers fan took the MVP award. Full circle moments are the best! #ILoveLA #allstargame #dodgerstadium
