Some reasons I voted straight red today: • I want secure borders and immigration aligned with Western values • I want safe and clean cities • I want sensible fiscal spending • I support free speech and I respect the Constitution • I don't want biological males in women's sports • I want election integrity • I don't want minors to be sterilized • I don't want to live under Sharia Law • I don't want my tax dollars fraudulently funneled to people that hate America If this is now classified as "far right" then I'll gladly accept that label. But in reality, it's just common sense

ROGERS IS ABOUT TO CHARGE 🇨🇦 FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF PAYING THEIR BILL. You can’t make this stuff up. Starting January 17, 2027, Rogers and Fido will introduce a 1.6% processing fee for customers paying their phone & internet bills by credit card. On a $200 monthly bill, that’s another $38.40 a year. Just for paying your bill. And here’s the kicker. Quebec customers are exempt. Why? Because Quebec’s consumer protection laws prohibit these surcharges. Apparently, consumers in the rest of Canada don’t deserve the same protection. Remember, Telus tried this in 2022. Consumer backlash eventually helped push it to reverse course. In 2022, Rogers said it had no plans to introduce a similar fee. Four years later, here we are. This is what happens when competition is weak. Instead of fighting to win customers, companies find new ways to charge the ones they already have.

Brad Bradford says Olivia Chow’s dismissal of his plan to conduct a third-party line-by-line audit of city finances is “the same can’t do attitude we hear time and time again from this mayor.” “Our own auditor general found that the city spent $11 million on Microsoft Office licenses for people who retired, it spent $5 million on stickers on recycling bins to tell you we don’t pick up the recycling,” he says. “There is lots of things that we can save.”

Alberta overwhelmingly votes to remain as apart of Canada. But also, they voted Yes to Eight of the Nine. I hope the PM @MarkJCarney can respect democracy even when it maybe unfavorable to him.

Everything the left says they want AND THEY'RE STILL PROTESTING AND BURNING SHIT DOWN.

At the very moment Carney Liberals failed to save Stelco jobs, they allow Beijing to dump steel into one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Canada. Carney is choosing China over our workers. The fact that the steel needed is not made in Canada is another failure of the Carney Liberals to create the environment for steelmaking here at home. We must build big with Canadian steel by ending the industrial carbon tax, and tackling steel dumping from trade abusers.
LNG Canada to use Chinese steel on $33-billion expansion project in Kitimat, B.C. China Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. made LNG Canada's first 2 processing units now in operation, @janycemcgregor reports cbc.ca/news/politics/lng-exp… Find out more at nationalnewswatch.com

The Prime Minister can’t seem to get his story straight about the “associate membership,” “unique alliance,” or whatever else he is negotiating with the EU. Conservatives are clear: we support the decades-old free trade & NATO defence alliance with Europe. But no EU taxes, no EU laws, and no EU open-border immigration policies should be imposed on Canadians. Canada must be independent and sovereign. Period.

Mark Carney could not be more out of touch. With Canadians missing meals and mortgage payments, and days before he addresses the European Parliament (instead of the Canadian Parliament) we learn in a foreign newspaper of secret talks to make Canada an "Associate Member" of the European Union. This is not about diversifying trade: we have had tariff-free trade with Europe for over a decade. They would buy more of our goods today if the Liberal government would get out of the way and permit mines, pipelines, LNG plants to produce and ship them. Canadians deserve answers: Is the WSJ report true about associate membership in the EU? If so, will European border policies apply in Canada, further overwhelming our immigration system while our youth can’t find homes? Will Canadian waitresses struggling with rent have to pay tax dollars to the bloated EU bureaucracy? Will Canadian small businesses be buried under the red tape of Eurocrats that have never met a Canadian entrepreneur? All questions I’d ask in Parliament, but it is shuttered. And one more: who decides for Canada? The Welland welder did not elect a Eurocrat to regulate our steel. The Saskatchewan farmer and the Atlantic fisherman did not choose a Brussels agrifood regulator that has never even seen our prairies or coasts. We will NEVER be the 51st U.S. state. And we will NEVER be the 28th EU state. We are Canadians. This is our home, our freedom, our sovereignty, our people. Now and forever.

I first met Charlie Kirk more than ten years ago. At that time, he was very young, and possessed an evangelical naivety that was relatively foreign to a Canadian. He was truly and somewhat amusingly shocked, for example, at the pervasive smell of marijuana on the streets of Toronto. It was obvious, however—despite that sheltered mien—that Charlie was someone deeply and singularly committed to a unique mission, and that he would be driven to learn everything necessary to its success. I met him in person another dozen times after that, and was asked to speak at a number of Turning Point events. I enjoyed the events. It was a very good thing to see thousands of enthusiastic young people trying to make things better in their somehow endearing conservative American way. It was also fascinating to watch Charlie develop in sophistication over the years. The bravery he showed in presenting a truly conservative viewpoint on university campuses was part of that development, as was the ferocious skill he developed at debating contentious issues, under trying conditions, for years. My wife, Tammy, and I met his lovely wife Erika with him on several private dinners. They made a truly admirable and mutually respectful couple. We had plans to make such meetings a regular occurrence—but life, and death, got in the way. I was not informed about Charlie's murder for several months after it occurred, in consequence of my recent illness. It came as a terrible shock. It is also truly awful to see what a spectacle has been made of his demise by pathological actors across the political spectrum. He was a solid, decent, hard-working, truthful, brave person. We are all—right and left alike—lesser without him. On the right: because he was an example and a leader. On the left: because he would willingly talk across the aisle, and in good faith. There will come a day—and too soon, I am afraid—when even those who vilify his memory will long for the days when people such as Charlie existed, and made such civilized talk a priority. I had the privilege to sit down with Charlie and talk with him about his life and the world not so many months before that was no longer possible: youtu.be/dP0TagcNvCg?si=F1fW… RIP Mr. Kirk. I write that in true sorrow.

Black women also want the right to kill their children. We have lost our minds. Only in the West are people having conversations like this. What has happened to us?! We have lost our humanity. 😳
Room full of women on the Oprah show starts cheering after a doctor says that black female child murderers need to be supported too, not just the white child murderers like Lindsay Clancy. "I want us to have the same passion for [female child murderers] who don't look like Lindsay." "There are women of color sitting around this country in prisons for [murdering their children]. I just wanna remind us to have the pink shirts and the energy for them as well." Totally insane.

Mark Carney has time to address German and Italian MPs and make YouTube videos. But he can’t make time to inform Canadians about the full details of the failed trade deal and of his tariff response. Mark Carney won’t pay the costs. He’ll be just fine. But hard-working Canadians will pay the full price. They deserve to know.
