Microservices were not at all bad for the industry. Just ask Netflix or Amazon or any other place where they were used appropriately. Inappropriate poorly executed architecture is bad for the industry no matter what it is. BBD (bandwagon-based design) never leads to good outcomes

Can we finally admit that the #microservices craze was harmful to the software industry? Sure, they are good in theory, but most teams end up with unmaintainable, slow, unreliable, hard-to-change monstrosities We now use "modular monolith" as consolation, but I still say back-end
