I’m sure this will finally shut down the speculation. 🤣
I have JUST RETURNED FROM ISRAEL, where I underwent a BRAND NEW DNA TEST at the world-renowned BioGenesis Laboratory in Tel Aviv. The technology in Israel is DECADES ahead of what we have here in the United States. Their scientists are doing things our so-called “experts” in Florida could only DREAM of. And here’s the best part: THE STATE OF FLORIDA HAS ABSOLUTELY NO JURISDICTION OVER THIS TEST. They can’t interfere. They can’t manipulate the results. And they certainly can’t silence me this time. The political establishment has been DESPERATE to derail my campaign for Mayor of Palm Beach. They know what happens if the truth finally comes out!

My favorite CAC anecdote is an internist calling because he couldn’t understand why his patients score went from the high 4000s to the mid 4000s. “Uh from differences in motion, slice position, etc…it’s still an order of magnitude over the highest risk cutoff so what are we talking about?” doximity.com/newsfeed/06ba28…

Nobody stopped you from investing in the stock market. If you never did that at any point in your life, that’s on you. You’re a grown adult. Take some responsibility. You have golf clubs as your profile pic and “real estate” in your handle. Hard for me to believe that you’re impoverished. If you admit that it’s a “shit system” then you should want nothing more than to fix it for the sake of your descendants. But instead it sounds like you want to get whatever you can out of it and leave your grandchildren holding the bag. That’s actually a despicable, selfish mentality, and it’s about time we start calling it what it is. I’m floating some ideas to fix the problem but you’re making it clear, as so many of your peers have made it clear, that you do not want it to be fixed if the solution will inconvenience you in any way at all. Meanwhile, your generation spent decades voting exclusively for politicians who would prop up the very “shit system” that you’re now complaining about. Again, where does personal responsibility factor in here? If you want young people to stop bitching and take ownership of their own lives and choices, when will you do the same?

Fuck you. They made us pay into that shit system for this guarantee of retirement pay. I would have rather invested the money in the stock market and I’d be much better off. So you can just forget that idea!

Zach Bryan’s support for Palestinian resistance seems to confirm it: he and his band have quietly emerged as the most prominent critics of US imperialism in the music industry. Their stance adds new weight to guitarist Noah Le Gros’ decision last month to honor Pat Tillman — the NFL star who enlisted after 9/11 but was killed by his own men after he began criticizing the “illegal” Iraq war, which he declared “imperial folly.” On April 22, 2004, Tillman’s platoon was on a search-and-cordon mission in Afghanistan’s Khost province when US forces behind him began unloading at Tillman’s position. His last words were: "Cease fire, friendlies, I am Pat fucking Tillman, damn it!" He was then hit in the forehead with 3 tightly-grouped shots by a member of his own unit, from what pathologists later determined was a distance of 10 yards. Blatantly violating military procedures, his bloody uniform and all personal belongings were burned — including the diary where he’d begun openly questioning the morality of the US occupation. The official narrative claimed the items represented a “biohazard.” Members of his unit were also ordered to remain silent about the highly suspicious circumstances of his death. Army medical examiners, who submitted a written demand insisting on a Criminal Investigation Division probe into whether his death constituted homicide, were shut down by top military brass. In public, the military lauded Tillman as a war hero, claiming that he’d been cut down by the Taliban while charging up a hill to protect his platoon. The story was entirely fictitious. Behind closed doors, the Army found there was no evidence of enemy fire directed at Tillman or anyone near his position. On April 29, one week after Tillman’s killing, Gen. Stanley McCrystal sent the infamous “P4 memo” to the head of CENTCOM, stating that it was “highly possible” Tillman was killed by his own unit and insisting President Bush be informed. The next day, the Pentagon posthumously issued Tillman a Silver Star, lying in a statement that he had “put himself in the line of devastating enemy fire” when he was killed. The citation was produced before a single member of his unit was interviewed. A day after that, Bush continued the ruse, claiming to honor Tillman in a televised speech omitting any mention of the true circumstances of his death. For Tillman’s family, the timing was not a coincidence. On April 28, horrific photos were revealed showing the US military and CIA had been secretly torturing detainees at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. Tillman’s brother Kevin, who served in the same unit, later wrote: “Crucial evidence was destroyed, including Pat's uniform, equipment and notebook. The autopsy was not done according to regulation and the field hospital report was falsified.” “An initial investigation completed with eight to 10 days before testimony could be changed or manipulated, and which hit disturbingly close to the mark, disappeared into thin air and was conveniently replaced by another investigation with more palatable findings.” The real investigation was replaced by an extraordinarily deceptive report concealing the truth about Tillman’s killing. Per Tillman’s brother, “This freshly manufactured narrative was then distributed to the American public. And we believe the strategy had the intended effect: It shifted the focus from the grotesque torture at Abu Ghraib and a downward spiral of an illegal act of aggression to a great American who died a hero's death.” At the time of his killing, he was planning to meet with Noam Chomsky upon his return to the US. Instead of admitting the Army’s biggest star was gunned down at near point blank range by his own unit after correctly diagnosing the war as an imperialist occupation, his killing was weaponized manufacture consent for the invasion and to recruit more young Americans into the war machine. Thanks to Zach and his band, the next generation is learning the real story.
Noah Le Gros Zach Bryan’s guitarist rocks a Pat Tillman jersey what a legend.

America’s corporate governance system is broken, and it’s killing public companies. Look no further than Cracker Barrel: Decades of brutal mismanagement have seen one incompetent CEO after another walk away with a massive paycheck while customers and actual shareholders take a beating. Why does this keep happening? Because proxy advisory firms like ISS are corrupt. They blindly rubber-stamp failing boards year after year, protecting the corporate elite while burning shareholder value to the ground. The root of the rot is index funds. There's no question that indexing one's money is a smart financial move for most people. But just because you passively index your investments doesn't mean your corporate votes should be handed over to the managers of your fund so they can play politics. Right now, passive funds hold massive, unchecked voting blocks while having zero skin in the game themselves. It is time for a simple rewrite of the rules: We need to index the votes of index fund investors. Passive index funds should be forced to automatically split their votes to proportionately mirror those of retail and active institutional shareholders — the people actually doing the research, risking their capital, and fighting for performance in the companies they hold shares in. No more rubber-stamping. A change like this will immediately strip corrupt gatekeepers like ISS of their toxic influence. True accountability happens when lazy, overpaid boards actually answer to the stakeholders they represent, rather than screwing them over. Actual, logic-driven governance when your money is passive happens when your vote passively follows the voting decisions of the actual market. We need to stop letting passive capital protect active incompetence. By stripping index funds of their arbitrary voting power and empowering engaged investors, we will finally torch corporate cronyism and usher American capital markets into a golden age of capitalism.

According to an informed federal official, in the coming months the Trump administration plans to send a total of 40,000 Mark 84 and Blu-117 bombs to the government of Israel. Each bomb weighs 2,000 pounds. This appears to be the largest transfer of conventional explosive ordnance from the United States in modern history. How big is this shipment? It amounts to 40,000 tons of bombs. For perspective, the largest American air raid of World War Two was the Eighth Air Force’s attack on Berlin in March of 1945. Combined, the 2,023 Allied aircraft involved dropped about 3,000 tons of bombs. That’s 7.5 percent of what Trump is sending to Israel. That same month, March of 1945, the US Army Air Forces began the single most destructive bombing raid in human history, Operation Meetinghouse over Tokyo. More than 100,000 Japanese civilians were killed. By the end of that operation, the US had dropped 1,600 tons of bombs. That’s four percent of what Trump is sending to Israel. World War Two ended five months later, when the US dropped an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima. The shipment Trump is sending to Israel amounts to more than three times the destructive power of that nuclear explosion. There is no precedent for what the Trump administration is doing. Nor is there a justification. The government of Israel is not fighting World War Two, or even a war. It is engaged in periodic skirmishes with a guerrilla force in Lebanon, and it is working to exterminate an unarmed civilian population in Gaza. Neither front requires modern 2,000-pound bombs. An American-made Mark 84 has a destruction radius of half a mile. It releases a thermal wave the temperature of the surface of the sun. Within 100 feet of the explosion, rock melts and human flesh turns to vapor. The bomb collapses apartment buildings and leaves craters thirty-five feet deep. Until the war with Iran, the US military generally avoided using the Mark 84 in urban areas. It kills too many civilians. For the Netanyahu government, that’s been the upside. In the weeks after October 7, the IDF dropped nearly six hundred 2,000-pound bombs on densely populated areas in Gaza, including on more than 100 officially designated civilian evacuation zones. The slaughter was so grotesque and embarrassing that for a moment the Biden administration paused a shipment of Mark 84s. Those shipments quickly resumed under Trump. Now they’ve accelerated. It’s hard to overstate the scale of the crime the Israeli government is committing in Gaza. Over the last three years, more than a quarter-million Palestinians have been killed or wounded by Israeli forces there. The majority of them have been noncombatants: women, the elderly and tens of thousands of children. Many thousands more remain missing, presumably entombed under the rubble of 200,000 collapsed buildings. So far the Israelis have destroyed 92 percent of all homes in Gaza, and 34 of the 36 hospitals. By comparison, the 1945 Allied bombings of Dresden, now acknowledged as a war crime, destroyed about half of the city’s inhabited buildings. By any definition, what the Netanyahu government has done in Gaza is genocide. The 40,000 new bombs the Trump administration is sending will be used to do the same in Lebanon, and likely in other countries in the region. If you wanted to extend the Iran war into the indefinite future, this is exactly what you’d do. So far none of this has received public scrutiny. At some point, inevitably, it will be described in media accounts as an “arms sale.” It is not an arms sale. It is a gift, funded by American taxpayers through the Foreign Military Financing program, an arrangement designed to disguise welfare as capitalism: Congress appropriates money to the executive branch, which transfers the cash to Israel to “buy” American-made weapons, in this case from General Dynamics. Politicians claim this is a win for America. Most voters have no idea they paid for it. The bill in this case is about $3 billion. Add that to the $352 billion the US Treasury has transferred to Israel since 1951. How did this happen? The request for 40,000 new high-explosive civilian-killing bombs originated at the US Embassy in Jerusalem, which is run by Christian Zionist Ambassador Mike Huckabee and his aide David Milstein, who is the stepson of Fox News host Mark Levin. From there it moved to the State Department, where Marco Rubio enthusiastically approved it. At this point, only four more people need to sign off before the bombs ship to Israel: Senators Jim Risch and Jeanne Shaheen, the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; and Congressmen Brian Mast and Gregory Meeks, the top two members of the equivalent House committee. All four are committed neocons. Collectively they’ve taken millions from the Israel lobby. In 2015, Brian Mast traveled to Israel to volunteer for the Israeli military. In 2023, Mast showed up in the House of Representatives wearing an IDF uniform. It’s hard to imagine any of them hesitating before sending more free bombs to Israel. Only public outrage can stop this.

Paging CEO of @Hughesnet for comment…
T-Mobile CEO on @Starlink Mobile: "The threat posed to mobile operators from satellite companies such as Starlink has been exaggerated and I struggle to see which consumer problems they would solve by entering the market." He believes satellite technology will remain “complementary” to existing networks. SpaceX President/COO Gwynne Shotwell said she anticipated SpaceX being able to “acquire quite a few” customers from the big three US mobile network operators - AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. SpaceX will launch Starlink Mobile V2 satellites next year and plans to begin its service at the end of 2027, Shotwell added.
