I heard a rumour, which I refused to believe at the time, that representatives of Celtic, the SPFL and SFA had been briefed by the security services of "social unrest" if we won the ten. Seemed a tad incredulous at first. Now? Now I'm not so sure.

Of all 4 nations, Scotland received lowest level of full fibre network funding from the UK govt. £4.5 million. Compare this with the £600 million @scotgov is investing in the R100 broadband plan. @Kirstene4Angus has some explaining to do why the Tories have again failed Scotland

So what does this all mean for Scotland? Well- despite being the most sparsely populated country with the most challenging environment to roll out broadband, Scotland received the least money overall. The least per head. And about a tenth of England based on our landmass. /11
