A promising new way to make fertilizer 40x more efficient than the current Haber-Bosch process, which uses up 5% of global natural gas production. The new process can be done locally at the farm level; a pilot project in Australia is in the works. anthropocenemagazine.org/202…

Needs to be just (CBDR), & make use of already-avail. non-GHG-emitting energy sources to accelerate improvements in energy availability & standards of living. Also identify replacement trade opportunities for existing FF trade, esp. for developing countries, to ensure transition.

We just added data and visuals for 50+ new areas across the US! This includes load, fuel mix, emissions and more. Previously, we focused on “deregulated” energy markets, but this release adds coverage for the whole country using data from @EIAgov gridstatus.io/eia

Does ⬇️ exist in some form? : Neighborhood/development-level sub-metering with associated community solar/wind that is net-metered wrt the overall neighborhood meter. Motivation: enable distributed deployment of clean generation w/out hard dep. on more transmission/distribution
