That was my first reaction to what happened yesterday, and after thinking it over, I’m no less furious. If anything, I should’ve been even harsher this morning.
Michigan has elected a terrorist to the United States Senate.
Ohio has elected a drunk as its next governor—a drunk whose own mother told us not to vote for her.
Texas has elected a Christian- and Jew-hating moron to the United States Senate. This person—and I use that term loosely—claims God is nonbinary and says there are six genders.
I’m disgusted with this country. I gave it 23 years of my life, and now it feels like that service was for nothing.
I hope you’re happy. You voted for this, and now you’re going to get exactly what you asked for—good and hard. Just wait and see.
