Motivated, and a bit frustrated so I updated my intro video for my website with some (mostly) fresh content. youtu.be/_PaX-585bA8?si=Nnek…
He’ll fit right in with some trustees and board employees ..
NEW: Former tourism minister Stan Cho, who resigned from Premier Ford's cabinet after facing criticism for spending thousands on Toronto hotel rooms despite living in the city, has been named parliamentary assistant to Education Minister Paul Calandra. #onpoli
IceDogs essentially had 9 healthy D men so somethjng had to give. This also gets Niagara down to 3 OA’s.
🚨TRADE: The Niagara IceDogs have traded Liam Spencer to the Sarnia Sting in exchange for Erie's 6th-round pick in the 2027 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

Great points here but I look at how badly UPL loses his angle as the dominant point. I want to really pump him up as the goalie for the Sabres but his play this year has been a bit spotty.
The Rick Bowness press conference after this one might be epic, if Columbus doesn’t push back in the 3rd. It could also be Torts like in its brevity!
This is an A+ hire by Ottawa. Mike will turn the franchise around. It’s what McMaster grads do!
The Ottawa REDBLACKS have named Mike Morreale as club president.
“This is about more than building a team that can win. It’s about building an organization that can compete for championships and give people in Ottawa a reason to feel connected to and proud of the REDBLACKS.”
Morreale brings a unique combination of football credibility and executive leadership experience. He played 12 seasons in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats, earning multiple CFL awards and winning two Grey Cups.
Congratulations to ex IceDogs captain Ben Jones, who’s back in the NHL with the Flames.
#Flames are calling up Ben Jones from the AHL Wranglers.
Leads the Wranglers with 9 points in 7 games. Also tied for second in the league with 7 goals.
The IceDogs win Rivalry Week with this post showing Matthew Schaefer in an IceDog jersey strutting his stuff. Love this!!!
Matthew Schaefer, a noted IceDogs fan. ✍️
Rivalry Week extends beyond the ice with the Schaefer Brothers.
Johnny is a proud #IceDogsAlumni, playing in Niagara from 2016-2019, while his brother Matthew played for the @ErieOtters from 2023-2025.

Some much needed youth injected into the squad. Good to see, though we are talking 18-19 year olds! Baptism by fire!

I get that I’m a #PhinsUp fan and have no standing to cast aspersions but Dallas’ offence just played some of the worst football I’ve seen this season. And don’t get me started on two of the weakest roughing the passer calls against Green Bay.
Improvisation is too mild of a word for what Josh Allen just did to get that TD for #BillsMafia . Never seen a shovel/flip pass that long. Simply astounding, astonishing and just marvellous
IceDogs hold on for a 5-4 road win in North Bay. Look comfortable but the ‘Dogs gave up 2 goals in :08 in the last minute and it became awfully interesting the last :20. They go 1-1-1 but were outshot badly today (50-22), including 18-3 in 3rd. G Connor Haffner was outstanding
11 F , 7D for the IceDogs. Likely to help Zack Naish out as he’s making his season debut. Dogs are trying to salvage the weekend after 2 straight L’s (one in OT).
Stunned and saddened by the events in Wainwright, Alberta. Keeping all those affected in my thoughts.
