If you’re holding onto something from your past, ask yourself this question. “What could Jesus do if I trusted this to him?” We can get so caught up in things that are behind us. But remember this: Your past doesn’t define you. Jesus defines you. In Him, you have new life. Who can you share this truth with? Open the Bible App and send Isaiah 43:18 to them today.

Resting with God isn’t a request—it’s something He calls us to do! "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘺, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦." — Genesis 2:3 NIV After the work of Creation, God rested. He set an example for us to follow in our daily lives by prioritizing rest. How can you prioritize resting with God this week by taking a Sabbath? Think about what resting with God could look like in your life, and choose a day this week to do it. Maybe it’s filling your day with worship, time in God’s Word, or moments with your faith community. Whatever your Sabbath looks like this week, remember to follow God’s example—rest with Him, intentionally and consistently.
